Dog Proof Fence travelling 5,800 klms across the East West landscape to keep Dingoes North of the sheep grazing properties.
On the road today for 480klms, to make Erldunda, a jump off point for Uluru. Drove through heavy rain that turned the Mallee trees into a lime green, Desert Oaks into a dark Olive green with black trunks and all along the roadside leached yellow tussocked grass nestled into the deep red/ochre earth. I saw two pairs of wedgetails sitting out the rain as the cars travelled by and claypans silver with water.
I'm enjoying the photos Viv. The tent photo could be a candidate for Gloria's "Fabulous Facades" workshop!
ReplyDeleteyou Dag Liz, we laughed and laughed at that one! Glad you're enjoying the photos, I have a new whiz bang camera which I am still learning to use, but nailed the macro lens today.
